Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine. Even as a child I loved capturing all those silly moments with friends. In high school I took my first and only photography class where I learned not just about looking through the lens but developing black and white film. It was a class I will always be grateful for. Learning on old 35mm film cameras taught me the technical aspect of photography which was easily translated into the digital world. As I grew older I got busy and didn't take many pictures until the birth of my first child. Even then it seemed like a quick picture here and there to capture those milestones was good enough. Then in 2010 my life changed. I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer right after the birth of our third precious little girl. I knew at that point that I would never let a moment pass me by without capturing it. A quick look around our house and seeing some bare walls I knew that it was time to rediscover photography and to fill my walls with memories of our family. My husband quickly discovered why I love photography so much and started taking pictures himself. It quickly became something we enjoyed doing together. At that point we decided it was time to take our love of photography from hobby to business so that we could capture those special moments for others as well. Life is too short and sometimes a picture is all we have. So with the support of our family and friends Beal Photography was born. There is nothing like getting a shot of a family laughing together, or a couple sharing a special moment, or a child acting silly. It is our hope that we can bring our passion for both life and photography and use it to make mementoes that will last a lifetime.
